This is a piece in a new series that explores the gestural lines of street-crack repairs and my collaboration with anonymous workers whose intentions were to fix the road. Adding color, repetition, and my own painted lines asks the viewer to see, with a growing sense of wonder and awe, what they might consider mundane and utilitarian.
